About Us

The idea of the Employment and Training Hub is Stockton-on-Tees Borough council's response to recognising the need for a centralised service to support all ages.

The HUB Team was launched in February 2022. We are located in Wellington Square, Stockton-on-Tees (opposite Specsavers). We officially opened in September 2022 and the purpose-built space features 4 large training rooms, event space, multiple meeting rooms and breakout space.

For Residents

The team are passionate about working with residents and businesses to create new opportunities and support people in taking their next step of their career. You could be employed, unemployed, a student or recently retired. We are here to help ANYONE who wants to achieve their dream job!

Our portal brings together all the help the Hub provides in-person, and it’s quick and easy to register for a free account. Once registered you can:

• View and apply for job vacancies
• Book onto training courses
• Learn all about Apprenticeships
• Upload your CV to get it checked by the team
• Receive guidance on application forms, job interviews and CV writing
• Check out the Directories on the Portal including Training, Support and Transport
• Keep updated on employment news and events

If you are an employer or business-owner, you can also:

• Find information and support for your organisation
• Upload your own job vacancies
• Find and book staff training
