This website is run by Hanlon Software Solutions. The premise of this website is for use by as many people as possible such as clients and enterprises. The content published on this website should be able to deliver content to users with clarity and conciseness. You should be able to:

  • 1.3.1.Info and Relationships
  • The forms on the website contain issues such as roles not being placed within their required context, table cells missing contextual information and container elements being empty. Space within the development schedule has been made to fix these issues. A fix for these issues is due to be implemented on TBD.

  • 1.3.5.Autocomplete does not work as intended
  • There are two instances that have been found where autocomplete does not work as intended. Space within the development schedule has been made to fix these issues. A fix for these issues is due to be implemented on TBD.

  • 4.1.1. Parsing
  • The Stockton website failed its test against this standard due to the forms being used on the website. Within these forms, there are multiple element IDs that are not unique. The accessibility issues residing within the forms were known about during the creation of the portal. Space within the development schedule has been made to fix these issues. A fix for these issues is due to be implemented on TBD.

  • 4.1.2 Name, Role and Value
  • The Stockton portal failed its test against this standard due to many issues that were found. Firstly, labels were not given to form fields on these forms. Another issue that was found was to do with the inline frames. These lacked a text alternative. Furthermore, there was also a hidden element found during testing with focusable content. Space within the development schedule has been made to fix these issues. A fix for these issues is due to be implemented on TBD.

Testing

We regularly carry out accessibility tests on our websites to make sure they are compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. We use Wave and Siteimprove Chrome extension tools to help us identify and fix usability and accessibility issues.
